Raama Prasaad, doing his post graduation at Vizag, is from a small village. From his childhood, his parents used to tell him to develop his own village at any cost and bring prosperity to all the villagers, relieving them from the vicious clutches of his paternal uncle, a land lord and the President of the village Panchayat, who is hindering the prosperity of the agriculturists and looting all the benefits offered by the Government through Village Panchayats. Thus his mind tuned to take up the Herculean task.
Jhansi Raani, daughter of an industrialist, junior to Raama Prasaad in the college, loved him and wanted to marry him. He analyzed the situation. If he marries Jhansi Raani, he will become an industrialist and enjoy a rich city life. But, can not fulfill the ambitions of his parents. He wanted to tell this clearly to his girl friend.
At this point of time, he had an opportunity to visit a forest under Anthropological programme of his course of study in the college. He met a tribal girl in a freak accident in the forest, who saved him from a snake bite. He has seen her living habitat and wondered how bad and sad the dwelling habitat is. Then he decided that the development of a village should start from here only. So that not only the development of the village, but a combined living for villagers and the tribals can also be achieved. So great and tremendous task for him.
How he has convinced his girl friend of his future plans, how he married the tribal girl and worked all the way with tribals, faced serious threats from the Naxalites in the forest and finally achieved a GUINNES record of development and brought all his villagers to the new village GANGAARAAMAM for a combined living with the tribals, to which the entire Government of Andhra Pradesh as well as the Central Government wondered and accepted to inaugurate the newly born village GANGAARAAMAM by the Prime Minister accompanied by all the Chief Ministers of India.
